illuminated snow

I really like to capture the snow under the light.
The illuminated snow become stars in the darkness,
when there was no any star in the sky.
The light bulbs seemed to attract many tiny stars to group together.
i did not realize the snow any more, but just the golden stars,

snow。mold

snow was similar to mold, sticking everywhere and everything.
The snow stuck on the pillar,
seem decaying the metallic outfit.
The snow stuck on the branches,
taking away the place of leaves.
The snow was sticking everywhere besides the close day of achool.

waiting。snow

I was waiting for the bus about 20 minutes in the heavy snow.
my hair became all wet,
and my clothes was going to be fully covered by the snow.
The bus was delayed without noticed.
All i could do was waiting at an uncovered place.
Unlucky that i live in far away,
only E-route and A-route came in the schedule of half hour each.

last time i waited for 40 minutes for the north route to go home.
It was raining.
What if i waited 40 mins in this heavy snow?
Maybe i would be buried in the snow and would become a real snowman.
Why we still have school in this such of weather?

idea of physical activity project

For my physical activity project,
I am going to make a cube, an empty cube.
Actually it will only have perimeters of the cube,
four verticals, perimeters of square on top and bottom.
it will make by woods, like the frame.
It may as big as a head.

Friend's artwork: Brush stroke

These were painted by my friend,
who stayed up with me in the art building the day before the due day.
Although he still needed to work on the contrast a little bit,
I really like his brush stroke on the paintings.
His brush stroke made his artworks look like a painting, not a picture/ photo.
Since now we have camera technology, we can take a picture of anything.
So if we paint like a photo, that painting will no more be valuable and special,
cos we can get the same image easily by the camera.
Therefore, in my opinion, brush stroke makes paintings alive.
He found his own way to paint,
and i am still finding.

Final: project of 4 panels

These are the final products for my painting project.
4 different color sets:
1, complimentary color scheme of the image
2, monochromatic color Scheme
3, Secondary/ Primary color scheme
4, analogous color scheme

Besides follow the color using, i changed the value contrast with my feeling.
I use a higher contrast,
so that a higher focus point on the spot light then to the inner train.
And it's hard to draw four pictures exactly the same...

Grass on head

A funny toy i gave to my friend: Grass on the head.
In Chinese, there is a sentence,
"Big head will have no brain,
Big brain will have grass grow."
It means some people do not use their brains to do lots of thinking,
then their brain has grass grow,
just like the grass grow up on the side of road
where no one use or clear anymore.
grass grow on useless place.
But sure, i do not mean this when i gave it to my friend.
It just has a funny look.

New Product: Hot Mocha anywhere and anytime

This is a interesting product i found in Dissmore Iga.
Hot Mocha that you can get a hot coffee anywhere and anytime.
just push one button and shake it for few seconds,
then you can get a hot drink after 3 mins,
without boiling water.
this technology should be used on cup noodle too,
so i can get a hot noodle in soup whenever and wherever i am.

Another project in my painting class:
To paint on four square panels with the same image.
This is my chosen image of a train.
I like how the view of angle goes deeper and more details.

frame makes pictures

Many artists always provide frames around their finished artworks.
but what if a frame exists before an artworks was made?
i took the pictures and each had a piece of a frame.
all the views becomes an organized picture within the border of this frame.
a frame seem to have power to make a visual view become an artwork,
rather than an artwork itself.
and this idea of frame may be my idea of physical activity.
